Ces insectes sont de bonnes sentinelles car ils vivent \u00e0 la fois dans l\u2019eau et dans l\u2019air et r\u00e9agissent vite aux changements environnementaux. Leur sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau, au climat et aux habitats permet d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019\u00e9tat des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes. Les bases assembl\u00e9es de l&rsquo;Opie, Steli, Gretia, Faune-France, de la British Dragonfly Society, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 italienne d&rsquo;\u00e9tude des Libellules, tr\u00e8s-etc. on permis de rassembler pr\u00e8s de 15 millions d&rsquo;observations. Le projet est principalement pilot\u00e9 par Lisa Nicvert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet analyse des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle europ\u00e9enne pour suivre l\u2019\u00e9volution des populations.<br>Une \u00e9tude sur 123 esp\u00e8ces montre que leur vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 d\u00e9pend de leur habitat, de leur cycle de vie et de leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences thermiques. Ces r\u00e9sultats aident \u00e0 mieux comprendre les effets des activit\u00e9s humaines comme le changement climatique.
